Celebrating 70 years of innovation
What started as a discovery for supporting the diagnosis and treatment of polio patients evolved into an invention that transformed the healthcare industry forever and impacted millions of lives.
In 1954 Radiometer developed the world’s first commercially available blood gas analyser.
We are proud of our 70 years of innovation and partnerships and excited about the future.
"We started our venture in the blood gas industry by helping the aid of polio patients. Now, critically ill patients are the centre of everything we do, and that work continues to this day, impacting around 24 million patients each year."Francis Van Parys, President |
In the news release, President Francis Van Parys, talks about this important milestone.
